The Oud Beersel Lambic blendery, as well as De Lambiek, Belgium's
Lambic Beer Visitor's Center, and Tourism Beersel have partnered to
offer a tour from the center of Brussels to the former two sites this summer.
Beginning on Saturday, July 14, and continuing every Saturday
in July and August, the Lambic Discovery Tour will begin, near
Brussels' Central Station. This bus tour will leave from Rue
Cardinal Mercier at 9.00 am, and arrive at Oud Beersel, in Beersel,
at 9.30 am. About an hour and a half will be spent at the blendery,
and then the bus will depart for De Lambiek, the superb new visitor's
center in Alsemberg, near Beersel. Two hours will spent at this
important site. The bus will return to Brussels at about 1: 15 pm.
Just in time for an afternoon of beer research.
See here for a detailed look at De Lambiek.
At just 21.5 euros, this sounds like a great way to spend a
Saturday morning and afternoon-and to avoid driving!
See: here for more info about the tour.

Thanks for the post. I have (hopefully) made a reservation to do this tour on Saturday. I don't think I would have found it without this post. Much appreciated.
At some point, I will post my experience on the tour at http://pintsizedrevelations.blogspot.com/
Thanks again. Cheers,
Cal
